Membership
Companies and/or individuals with duties and responsibilities in the area of Affirmative Action, Equal Employment
Opportunity, and Diversity working primarily in the Greater Baltimore and Washington, DC area shall be eligible for membership. Eligible
persons shall be enrolled as members upon application to and acceptance by the Association. Annual membership shall be based upon the
calendar year.
For the past few years, we had suspended our membership dues and meeting fees. In our attempt to improve the organization and increase
membership, we have incurred additional expenses.
We have decided we will be accepting company memberships in 2012. We have had a number of companies who have offered to support
our organization, so we thought this was the right time to start collecting dues again.
Effective January 1, 2012, a company membership cost is $100 per calendar year. As a member company, you will be recognized as a
supporter on our website and be given a certificate recognizing your company’s support.
For 2012, we will maintain quarterly meetings, and keep the length at one and a half to two hours. Our meetings will remain at no cost
to both members and non-members. We will also continue striving to get our program content HRCI approved for PHR/SPHR
recertification credits.
